About this Position
Tribesquare is seeking an Intermediate Technical Support Engineer. The role isn’t particularly a coding role, but you’re expected to understand coding. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that Interswitch customers POS/Till configuration issues are fixed. This entails solving issues remotely most of the time, but visiting clients where necessary, as well
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and issues through various channels.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues by conducting thorough analysis.
- Log, track, and document all support requests and incidents in the ticketing system, ensuring proper follow-up and closure.
- Create and update technical documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles to assist customers and internal team members.
- Work closely with other support engineers, development teams, and product managers to escalate and resolve complex issues, and provide feedback on potential product improvements.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in all customer interactions, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance support processes
Net starting salary at ₦150,000 to ₦250,000 depending on your experience
Skill/Personality Requirements
You are a good fit for this position if you:
- Knowledge of Android development with Kotlin or Java.
- Any other relevant programming experience.
- Effective communication and other soft skills necessary for supporting customers.
- You’re an intermediate developer with experience building mobile and enterprise applications.
- Experience building apps for POS is a plus.
